SOUND ATTENUATOR

Active Acoustic Engineer design and supply rectangular splitter attenuators to suit all air and gas movement applications. From smaller attenuators for dust extraction plant, through to large attenuators on primary & secondary air fans used in power generation, Our sound attenuator are designed as per consultant design parameters for sound and air flow performance requirement across a wide range of industries. Each attenuator is cost- effectively designed to meet the most demanding of customer noise specifications.
We offer different type of attenuator designs depending on application and structural requirements, from light weight construction through to a heavy plate welded units. All our attenuators have aerodynamic inlet fairings to reduce pressure loss, mineral wool /Rock wool infill protected by glass fiber tissue paper or glass wool weaving cloth of high GSM lining and a final layer of perforated sheet steel protection.
Inlet air filters are commonly used in conjunction with our range of rectangular splitter attenuators where a common filter bank is installed prior to the acoustic baffles. Access to the filters can be gained either through a side access door fitted into the filter plenum or via the end of the attenuator should space permit.
Active Acoustics™ Systems offers a full range of sound attenuation / acoustic louvers to meet the need for noise pollution control. Designed and custom built solutions are offered as per site requirements. Active Acoustics™ provides sound attenuators for HVAC systems, cooling fans on industrial fans, inlets and radiators, power generator noise, air blowers, and other industrial applications.
Acoustic louvers:
The design of the acoustic louver will depend on the noise reduction request. Active Acoustics designs and provides acoustic louver for sound reduction from 15dB (A) to 30 dB (A). The description and the Louvre section are as follows:
Sound ATTENUATORS:
The selection of sound attenuators depends on many factors, such as the type of equipment, the location of the silencer, the size of the pipelines, indoor, outdoor, increased humidity, inexpensive pressure drop. ACTIVE ACOUSTICS™ experts can help you choose a sound attenuator among those available in standard dimensions
